Princess Diana's Death
Princess Diana died August 31, 1997 in Paris. There was many causes of the severe car accident. One cause of Princess Diana's death was her driver being legally drunk. The driver's name was Henri Paul. Another cause is that they were being follow by determined paparazzi driving at high speeds. Some witnesses said that the paparazzi had blocked police from helping Princess Diana while taking pictures. Her boyfriend Fayed died instantly while Princess Diana died a couple hours after for serious injuries. Her funeral was at Westminster Abbey. The President had made a speech about Princess Diana after her death. ''Some of his speech had stated 'For myself, I will always be glad that I knew the Princess and always think of her in very strong and positive terms, as will Hillary, and we can only hope that her work will go forward and that everyone who can, will support her two fine sons and help them to have the life and the future that she would want.''(Clinton, William J.)
